MPS MAP TimelinePilot from Nov. 2004 – July 2006 • November 2004 – January 2005 – Investigated appropriate instructional tools (MassInsight) • March 2005 – MVMS Teachers began MAP training • March 2005 – 7th graders took MAP • April 2005 – 7th grade teachers learn how to access reports • May 2005 – MVMS teacher teams beginning to use results • June 2005 – 6th graders take MAP
MPS MAP Timeline • Summer & Fall 2005 – Plan implementation for Village (grades 6, 5, 4) • Fall 2005 – MVMS teacher teams continue using results • Fall 2005 and/or January 2006 – 7th and 8th grade benchmarking with MAP • Spring 2006 – 4th-8th MAP end-of-year assessment • April 2005 – July 2006 Ongoing assessment and continuous use of results, teacher team-based professional development
