  10. What happened at Passover? The Angel of Death PASSED OVER the homes of the people in Egypt who had put the lambs blood on the doorpost In ancient Egypt, the Jewish people had become slaves. God had sent Moses to lead them out of slavery. God told them to put lambs blood on the doorpost. After that the Pharaoh let them leave. They ate unleavened bread.

  11. What happened at the Last Supper? Yearly, the Jewish people celebrate this event as a remembrance of Passover with a Seder meal of food, Scripture, song and prayers. Jesus and his disciples were celebrating this the night before he was crucified. During this meal, Jesus gave us the Eucharist with the bread and wine. Christians call this meal the LAST SUPPER

  12. How is our Catholic Mass related to the Last Supper and Jewish Passover? During our Catholic Mass, we celebrate what happened at the Last Supper. The priest takes the bread and wine and says the same words of Jesus to change it into the body and blood of Jesus. Our Mass is connected to the last supper which was the celebration of the Passover meal.
