On January 23, 2004, Austria's Virtual School Network (LoT Austria) launched its website, aimed at enhancing the quality of educational resources available online for children, teachers, and adults. Coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education, this initiative involves collaboration with various institutions including museums, cultural organizations, non-profits, and companies across Austria and Eastern Europe. Upcoming workshops will focus on hands-on teacher training and student involvement in key academic areas such as biology, physics, sports, mathematics, and informatics, with documentation available in both German and English.
