2. Main character Jay Ken • Jay is a young 13 year old Indian boy he is dynamic character be cause at first he did not like the Japanese cause his father was fighting in the war and went missing. • Ken is a 17 year old teen who is a static character because he really never changed how he acted towards the towns people who disrespected him.

3. Setting • It takes place in small town called delta were his grandparents live . It also takes place on his grandfathers farm were he meets ken.

4. Conflict and Resolution • The type of conflict is man vs. self because that jay did not want to think his dad is dead, so when he saw that his mom was seeing another man he ran away. • The resolution is when jay returns home and promises to his mom that he will try to like the new guy and not talk bad about him.

5. prediction • I predicted that Jays father would come back but my prediction was not accurate cause he was dead.
