Weatherization Programs: Saving Energy and Lives Across America

Weatherization programs are making homes safer, more energy-efficient, and affordable. On average, families save $413 in their first year through weatherization efforts, with 100,000 homes weatherized annually. For every dollar invested, there are $1.65 in benefits generated. These initiatives also support around 8,000 jobs with federal funding. We aim to create a warmer winter and cooler summer for families while significantly reducing carbon emissions.
