জাতি • জাতি বলতে আমরা এক জনসমষ্টিকে বুঝি যারা কতগুলো ঐক্যবদ্ধ সূত্রে আবদ্ধ থাকে এবং রাজনৈতিক ভাবে সংগঠিত।
নাগরিক • নাগরিক হল ঐ ব্যাক্তি যে রাষ্ট্রে স্থায়ী ভাবে বসবাস করে এবং রাষ্ট্রের আনুগত্য স্বীকার করে।
সমাজ • জীবনের প্রয়োজনে মানুষ যেখানে একত্রিত হয়ে বসবাস করে তাকে সমাজ বলে।
