    3. 3 The Ohio Army National Guard has over 11,000 Soldiers placing it over 110% of our authorized strength. The Army National Guard has 5 brigades 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 16th Engineer Brigade, 174th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, and Joint Task Force 73 all headquartered in Columbus and the 371st Sustainment Brigade headquartered in Kettering. The Joint Force Headquarters (command and control for the Ohio National Guard) is located in Columbus along with the Medical Detachment, the 147 Regional Training Institute, and the Operational Support Aircraft detachment. The Fort Ohio Training Center Command is located in Port Clinton. The Ohio Army National Guard has over 11,000 Soldiers placing it over 110% of our authorized strength.     4. 4 Again, this graphic depicts the home of record for the over 10,000 Soldiers in the Ohio National Guard. As you can see, the majority of our Soldiers are clustered near Ohios major metropolitan areas; but, we have Soldiers in all 88 counties.     5. 5 The Ohio Air National Guard has over 5,000 Airmen. We are currently at 109% of our authorized strength. There are 4 wings and 7 geographically separate units (GSUs). The wings are located in Columbus, Springfield, Mansfield and Toledo. Additionally, 3 of the GSUs are located in Port Clinton, Zanesville, and Cincinnati. The Ohio Air National Guard has over 5,000 Airmen. We are currently at 109% of our authorized strength. There are 4 wings and 7 geographically separate units (GSUs). USPFO Mission Statement The mission of the United States Property and Fiscal Officer (USPFO) is to receive and account for all funds and property of the United States Government in the possession of the National Guard of specified State or Territory. They must also ensure that Federal Funds are obligated and expended in conformance with applicable statutes and regulations. 12

Title 32 versus Title 10 Title 32 Denotes State Control Governor is the Commander of the ANG/ARNG in a non-mobilized status The Adjutant General is a member of the Governors cabinet and is, in fact, a state employee The Air/Army Commander is a state controlled employee Military and civilian technicians and AGRs are state controlled employees. 13
