    1. PASOS PARA HACER EL AUTOEXAMEN DEL SENO El cncer mamario es uno de los tumores malignos ms frecuentes y agresivos. Detectado y tratado oportunamente puede ser curable en su totalidad. Por ello, el autoexamen de seno debe efectuarse mensualmente desde los 20 aos en adelante. La mejor poca para hacerlo es justo despus de la menstruacin. Si no tiene perodo, o estos son irregulares, repita el examen el mismo da de cada mes. El autoexamen del seno es un herramienta que puede ayudarle a conocer la apariencia y forma normal de sus senos.
