Introduction to Virtual College: Overview and Training Objectives
Join us for the Virtual College Orientation on November 19, 2008. This training will provide an overview of the Virtual College, including standard practices and procedures, a demonstration of an online class, and a question and answer session. Founded approximately 10 years ago, the Virtual College started with telecourses and expanded to include two online English courses in Fall 1997, with 29 students. As of the 2007-2008 academic year, we offer 215 online courses and have seen a total enrollment of 3,471, reflecting 17% growth. Explore the addition of Hybrid and Add-on courses!

Virtual College Overview Then: Started roughly 10 years ago. Bulk of distance learning was Telecourses. Fall of 1997, two online English courses offered with 29 students enrolled.
Virtual College Overview Now: 215 online courses offered in the 2007 - 2008 academic year. 3471 total enrollment for 2007 – 2008 academic year. 17 percent growth Addition of Hybrid (HW) and Add-on courses (HA)
