Objectives • Identify nursing roles in various settings that contribute to the future of nursing practice, education and leadership to support a transformed health care system. • Define and examine strategies for inter-professional partnering and collaboration used by nursing professionals to assist in the emerging redesign of healthcare. • Discuss and interpret efforts aimed towards the advancement and improvement of nursing education. • Illustrate opportunities in the healthcare setting that help ensure nurses practice to the full extent of their education and training.
