PRIORITIES & STRATEGIC APPROACHES • To assure countries receive technical assistance . • 9 Steps approach. • Advocacy for raising awareness about FC2. • Development of multi-language IEC materials.
PRIORITIES & STRATEGIC APPROACHES • To assure programmes’ sustainability. • Advocacy for convincing governments to include a budget line for procuring FC2. • Advocacy for convincing governments / donors to consider programming aspects. • To assure all potential partners are considered in programmes’ elaboration. • Enlargement of the number of partners, mainly NGOs, at country level (Action Plan elaborated).
PRIORITIES & STRATEGIC APPROACHES • To advocate for relocating F2 within Family Planning and contraception. • Case Studies, Satellite Sessions, Workshops, partnerships with national and int’l organisations. • To target men. • Working with NGOs and MoH on including a “men centred approach” to programming activities and promotion of female condoms. • Development of a package of FC2 materials aimed at men.
PRIORITIES & STRATEGIC APPROACHES • To explore opportunities to systematise Global Fund applications to include programming and procurement funds for FC2. • Building of a data bank of CCMs contacts in the region. • Strengthening of relationship with CCMs.
PRIORITIES & STRATEGIC APPROACHES • To work with USAID to address the need for Programme support funds in country supplied with USAID funded FC2. • Creation of a data bank with countries receiving funds / commodities from USAID. • Preparation of an action plan to contact USAID country offices to offer technical assistance.
