Modulation of BCL6 Expression in Breast Cancer Cell Lines T47D and MCF-7 In Vitro
This study investigates the modulation of BCL6 expression in breast cancer cell lines T47D and MCF-7 through transient transfection techniques. In panel (a), BCL6 siRNA was used to transiently reduce BCL6 expression in T47D cells, while in panel (b), BCL6 cDNA was transiently introduced into MCF-7 cells to enhance BCL6 levels. The results demonstrate significant alterations in BCL6 expression, highlighting its potential role in breast cancer biology. Statistical significance was noted with a p-value < 0.01.
