Summary Follow up to May 2007 AJV Board Recommendations: Purpose Formulate, implement and track strategic relationship management plan facilitating JV timely interaction with congressional delegations communicating unified and individual messages to secure support and passage of appropriation and/or policy priorities. Highlights • Develops annual congressional communication timeline for JVs • Provide time sensitive information facilitating congressional contacts • Coordinates/Tracks JV relationship development with congressional delegations • Develop tracking mechanism to highlight progress and gaps • Maintain and facilitate ongoing communications to JVs • Reports congressional deadlines and processes • Highlights and Reports communication/relationship deficiencies • Assists in securing congressional visits during annual D.C. visit by AJVB members • Serves as follow up coordinator ensuring timely, consistent relational efforts by JVs
