  2. The Habitat Pandas only live in mountain slopes in China. In the mountain slopes of China, there are lots of bamboo. Now, the people of China are cutting it down and there are fewer pandas than before.

  3. The Food Pandas eat mostly bamboo. Their diet is 99% of bamboo and 1% of small rodents. Pandas have special jaws that help them eat bamboo.

  4. The Fur Pandas have thick, wooly, and oily fur that keeps them warm in the mountain slopes. The fur is actually made of long course hairs and fine dense hairs. The pandas also have water-proof fur that helps them swim.

  5. How Many Pandas are Left? In the website National Zoo, it said there are about 1,600 and more than 300 pandas live in zoos and breeding centers around the whole wide world, mostly China. The reason why pandas are almost extinct is because of China trying to builds a building on top of their habitat. There used to be about 1,600 pandas.
