Established DID / DOD Connectivity of 4 E1 at PSU • Direct Inward Dialing (DID)/Direct Outward Dialing is a service offered by telephone companies that enables callers to dial directly an extension on a PBX or packet voice system. • A direct line for every user • Digital quality • Saving on recurring costs • Lesser wires, higher uptime • Direct Line Number Display (DLND) • No congestion or busy signals

Prince Sultan University Website (Internet & Intranet) PSU Calendar is a web-based application for posting and maintaining events and schedules online, in calendar format. • Annual, monthly, weekly and daily calendar views • Search • Dynamic CSS (style sheet) styles • Recurring and all-day events • Role-based user permissions and calendar configuration (Add/Edit/Delete/Change) • Multiple categories for classifying calendar events

Software Licensing • A study Sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), Centralized Electronic Licensing User Group where 72 percent of those surveyed do not monitor their licenses or are only doing so manually. • ITCS invited Mr. Saghir Muneer, PSU Legal Advisor to conduct a Workshop on Software Ethics for its staff both on Men & Women which was a success. • This Year ITCS can claim that is ~90% compliant in this area.

  9. Workshops & Events • ITCS provides technical support and assistance for all Workshops/Events/ Programs conducted by different units of PSU • Programs Organized by Community Services (Eng. Ibrahim Al Gemlas) • Mowhiba • CiscoVersity • ICDL & Others • CBA, CCIS,PSCLG • INSEAD , Team Process, etc • In addition, ITCS also hosts trainings for different programs at PSU
