This study presents a decoupled estimation method for Direction of Arrival (DOA) and angular spread of signals from spatially distributed sources. Utilizing the COMET estimation framework and the Extended Invariance Principle (EXIP), we develop a robust estimation model based on Hadamard matrix products and transforms. The results indicate enhanced accuracy in estimating angular spread and DOA through covariance matching estimators. Key contributors include Huang W.J. and Tsai H.C., with references to foundational works in IEEE signal processing.
