  2. Nothing in history has had as dramatic of an effect on communication as the Internet. Instant access to information of all kinds is only a “click’ away. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  3. Likewise email, Facebook, Twitter and the other “social networking web sites” allow us to instantly convey our every thought and notion to people we know and to those we don’t. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  4. One of the easiest, and perhaps the deadliest when not in good humor or with the intent to lift others up, is the ability to instantly “forward” email messages. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  5. With the ability to instantly send emails that “seem good” because they seem to support our own predispositions on values and ideas, we far too often are promulgating half truths and deliberate lies. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  6. The result is slandering of people and twisting the truth, in ways we may not realize. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  7. Fundamental to Democracy Working is People Thinking. Demigods and tyrants thrive on feeding propaganda to the populace and keeping the people ignorant of the truth. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  8. So, before you forward that next email that “feels right” and seems to be in sync with your personal beliefs and feelings, take a moment and apply the 4-Way Test. To Forward or Not To Forward? next

  9. Of the things we think, say or do, OR FORWARD BY EMAIL or post on a web site, ask yourself * Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
