This paper explores the principles of cooperative collection development among Ohio's academic libraries, particularly focusing on non-Christian religions. By establishing shared approval plan profiles and dividing responsibilities among member institutions, we aim to minimize duplication of titles and enhance coverage in religious studies. With participation from schools like College of Mount St. Joseph and Xavier University, we discuss the financial commitments and specific strategies needed for success, emphasizing the importance of patience, flexibility, and collaboration among libraries.
