Job Shadowing • When: Thursday, March 15th • Where: Dare County Justice Center • Who: Merlee Austin (Dare County Clerk of Court) and Chrissy DeGabrielle ( Dare County Assistant District Attorney) • What: Met Judge Edgar L. Barnes, learned about the different types of courtrooms, learned about the tasks of a clerk of court, experienced two trails, witnessed a prosecutor in action
Product • Model of Courtroom • I came up with the idea of a courtroom to showcase a courtroom setting • My product synthesized with my research paper and job shadowing. Since it creates a visual aid to better explain the setup of a courtroom.
Product • My product does fill in an information gap by providing a visual of the courtroom allowing me and my audience to have a fuller understanding of the process.
