  3. PHILOSOPHY • Means LOVE OF WISDOM • A philosopher is a lover of wisdom, a person who uses reason to acquire wisdom about life or the universe • Around 6th century BCE, there was a shift from accepting myths as truth, to learning how to reason with everyday encounters

  8. Socratic Method • Perceived truth vs. absolute truth • The colour only exists because of our own understanding of colour. We are told that the bottle is purple and we are taught to recognize it as that colour. It only exists in the ways we think about the colour its not an actual property of the table PERCEPTION VS.
