  2. What is an E-Portfolio? • Internet access therefore ongoing communication possibilities with parents • Parent/Student interviews • Qu’est-ce qu’un portfolio électronique? • Accès à l’Internet, par conséquent possibilités de communication continue avec les parents • Entrevues parents/étudiants

  3. Why have a digital component? Why not stick with paper? • Our world is digital • Kids born into a digital world • Learning styles and MIs… • Pourquoi avoir un élément numérique? Pourquoi ne pas s’en tenir au papier? • Notre monde est digital • Les enfants naissent dans un monde numérique • Styles d’apprentissages et intelligences multiples…

  4. REMINDER Start slow and don’t be too hard on yourself!!! RAPPEL Commencez lentement et ne soyez pas trop sévère envers vous-même !!!

How to start one: • Server/Network • Laptops • One folder per child (sub-folder for selection) • Software issues • Hardware issues • Student tech teams!!! • Comment commencer: • Serveur/Réseau • Ordinateur portatif • Un dossier par élève (sous dossier pour sélection) • Questions de logiciels • Questions d’équipement • Équipes d’élèves aides-téchniques !!!
