  1. The Most Popular Music Playing Devises. By: Thomas Savell and Savannah Nimpfer Class: 3B

  2. The Record Player!!! • Was invented in 1877 by Thomas Edison. • The record player used a needle, that was attached to a magnet. The needle would read the groves in the record which would produce a series of sounds, that would vibrate which then would be translated and amplified by a horn like speaker. • Originally tin foil was used for the recording but later was changed to a flask disk.

  3. Record Player Continued!! • It was originally made with a funnel/speaker for amplifying the vibrations made by a series of coils. The coils would vibrate when the needle attached to a magnet would scratch against a plastic type of a record. • Many people at first it was used as a way to study the human language but then was discovered that it could play music which made it useable by everyone.

  4. The Portable Cd Player • Was invented in 1984 by Sony Inc. • Originally the Cd player came with fast forward, rewind, play/pause, hold, stop, and liquid crystal display. • An anti-shock hardware was installed later to help stop skipping on Cds and then an electronic skip protection was also made to stop skipping too. • People of all ages.

I-Pod! • On October 23, 2001 Tony Faddel and about 30 other designers invented the I-pod for Apple Inc. • 2 ARM cpu running at 90Mhz, A Samsung sy6stem chip, Sigma tel chip that handles and audio decoding of the music, Arrus logic chip,25.4 micro drive, flash memory and, internal lithium polymer battery. • Over the years size, weight, and storage to meet all customers needs. • Everybody, who can afford it.
