There are many fun and exciting things to do in Kansas City. • Visit Crown Center • Spend the day at Union Station • Shop on the Plaza • See the animals at the KC Zoo • Explore the new Aquarium in KC • Enjoy watching our local baseball team, the Royals, at Kauffman Center!

Attractions • Nelson-Atkins Museum • Kemper Museum • WWI Museum • KC Aquarium (NEW!) • KC Zoo • Worlds of Fun/ Oceans of Fun • Theme parks • Union Station • Science City, touring exibits • Power & Light • Night life scene in KCMO • Sprint Center • Touring musicians, comedians and sports games • Kauffman Center of Performing Arts

  4. Shopping in KCMO • Plaza • A great place to spend the day shopping and walking around the beautiful city! • Crown Center • Often hosting fun events like The Irish Festival. Great shopping and ice skating in the winter! • The Legends • Kansas City’s best outlet mall! Located near the race tracks and the T-Bones minor league baseball stadium! Great restaurants! • Zona Rosa • Near the airport, is filled with great shops and restaurants.

  5. Food in Kansas City! There is a lot of delicious food here in KC. Here are a few examples of things we are famous for. • Kansas City Barbeque • Kansas City is famous for our mouthwatering BBQ! There is nothing better than BBQ ribs, cole slaw and potato salad! Yum! • City Market • City Market is a wonderful place to buy fresh, locally grown food! • Steak houses • We also have a lot of great steak houses in Kansas, selling steak from local farms!
