  1. Breaking Through Roadblocks To Success In Business

  2. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS “Becoming aware of your emotional patterns gives us an idea of where our attachments are, so that we have a more precise awareness of the emotional patterns that motivate us.”

  3. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS • A pattern is a form of unconscious behavior that you act out compulsively. • For example: • Leaving before you are left • Always broke • Struggle • Helplessness • Guilt

  4. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS You can work out your patterns by looking at your repetitive results in life. If you keep attracting clients without money, why? If you keep attracting men that are bastards, why?

  5. If you start building income and then go back to where you started, why? • If you attract staff that screw you over, why? • If you are struggling to get new clients, why? BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS

  6. List some repetitive results or patterns that you have noticed in your life/business so far..

  7. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS • There are clear reasons why you attract the results you do. • These results/people reflect qualities in one or both parents that you’re incomplete with. • You can free yourself, if you take responsibility for creating them in the first place.

  8. You chose them because: • Your parents did • Rebellion against your parents • You picked it up unconsciously and didn’t know what you were doing. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS

  9. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS Sometimes we feel our patterns are embedded in our personality and can’t do anything about it. THEY ARE JUST OLD CHOICES To transform them • Become aware of them • Notice their power of addiction • Let go of the past –use the same energy to let go. • Notice your fear of change • Really go for what you want.

  10. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS • Life never gives you more than you can handle. • Growth is a progression through regression. • To move forward, devote time and energy into clearing the way. • You can’t let the child within run your business or life.

  11. BE AWARE OF YOUR PATTERNS The patterns that I need to let go of in order to become successful in business are: The patterns I need to let go, in order to be wealthy are: What new actions, decisions and signals do I need to put in place to develop a new pattern.

  12. Ambidextrous Writing Amazing technique to explore sub personalities through two-handed writing.

  13. The How To • Main hand you use for writing. • Main hand ask questions and non-preferred hand for respond. • This can feel awkward and messy. You want to allow these hidden parts of yourself an opportunity to express themselves.

  14. Important Points

  15. Getting Started • Divide your page into two columns. • Your right hand always writes in the right column and your left in the left column. • Your main hand is used to ask the questions and your other hand is used to respond. • It might feel strange at first but here are some suggestions to help you get going.

  16. Getting Started I would like to talk to the part of me that knows… (your call) • Why I feel blocked about selling… • Why I can’t make a decision about… • Why I feel angry about not being able to….

  17. Getting Started Or I would like to talk to the part of me that knows how I can • …experience greater success in (whatever) • …overcome my fear of (whatever) • Resolve or untangle (whatever) • ..improve my relationship with (whoever)

  18. Getting Started Or, if you think you have nothing to deal with • I would like to talk to the part of me that knows of any issues that need clearing.

  19. A response will arise in your mind and then you write it down and then respond to it with your next question. • Your attention is always on the interviewee not the interviewer and help the interviewee out by asking questions like, Is there anything else you can remember or would like to add?

  20. When reacting to the interviewee responses, you might ask questions such as; • How old are you? • How can I help you? • What do you want? • Is there anything you want me to know/do? • Is there a part of me that I need to talk to that is involved with this… do you know who.. Are they willing to come out? Why, why not?

  21. It is important that you don’t just list one question after the next but rather that you listen to the responses without judgment and engage in a conversation, not an interrogation. This way you will gently encourage from yourself whatever it is that you need to know (or do), in order to move forward in your life.

  22. Lock In New Learning's • Insights into my life that have come to me as a result of this exercise: • Actions I plan to take based on these insights:

  23. A Philosophy Of Change Change is easier when we accept some basic assumptions: • We all have a part of ourselves that wants to be happy and fulfilled • There are several basic needs, that when met will make us happier • It is highly unlikely that we will change basic patterns without making a conscious decision to do so; and • We avoid facing situations and feelings that cause us pain, even when confronting them would be good for us.
