  2. What is FXMathPack? • Efofex'sFXMathPackcontains four useful mathematical tools. • FX Draw • FX Graph • FX Stat • FX Equation

  3. FXDraw • FX Draw draws any diagram a secondary mathematics teacher (or student) might need. • With FXDraw you can produce: • Function Graphs • Geometric Diagrams • Statistical Graphs

  4. FXGraph • Graph Cartesian, inverse, conic, implicitly defined, polar and parametric relationships. • Analyze most functions and provide information on important points automatically. • Plot points, groups of points and vectors. Graph on equal aspect and fixed scale axes • Automatically detect asymptotes and point discontinuities in rational functions. • Show tangent lines and 1st and 2nd derivative curves. • Calculate and display definite integrals including areas to the y axis. • Zoom and graph on broken axes. • Easily annotate your graph using automatically generated text.

  5. FXStat • FX Stat is a statistics program designed for secondary school teachers and students. • It gives students the ability to produce high-quality statistically correct graphics for use in tests, examinations, worksheets and assignments.

  6. FXEquation • FX Equation produces high quality, formatted equations with a minimum of input from the user. • FX Equation also adds short division signs, "fill in the blank" boxes, combinations, permutations, arcs, highlighted lines and an on-screen keyboard for use with interactive whiteboards.

  7. How Does FXEquation Work? • FXEquationis normally accessed from within Word. • FXEquationadds two toolbar buttons to your Word toolbar. • Push the first toolbar button (circled) to load FXEquation. • Just type your equation into the top box on the screen. Your equation will appear formatted in the bottom window. • When you have finished creating your equation, click on the green check mark (tick) on the FXEquationtoolbar to return to Word.

Why am I excited about FXMathPack? • Some of the students I work with are of average to above average intelligence, yet struggle with written expression and other fine motor tasks. • These children might be blocked from taking higher level math classes without assistive technology. • Efofex provides students with documented learning disabilities free software. • Email tutorials are available for all Efofex products. • With the advent of interactive whiteboards, students and teachers can use Efofex software for interactive problem solving.
