Hobsons Bay Music Academy offers Saxophone lessons with local teachers in Altona. Our Music School provides piano lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, and violin and drum lessons. We are passionate about sharing our talents with the community. There is an abundance of performances for the students in which they can partake including school-based events, wider community events, fundraising, competitions, and schools.   2. ABOUT US Hobsons Bay Music Academy provides music education in Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Drums, Vocals and Saxophone. Band ensembles, theory group classes, youth choir and song writing and improvisation courses are also run at the school. Hobsons Bay Music Academy has been in operation since 2013.

  3. WHAT WE OFFER INSTRUMENTAL This program takes students to from complete beginner to an advanced level of artistry, technical proficiency and musicianship skills. We offer tuition for: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Violin, Saxophone, Vocals and Theory.

LITTLE PERFORMERS BAND SPARKS BAND / SMALL ENSEMBLE Hobsons Bay Music Academy offers a range of different playing and performance opportunities for students, whether it’s playing in a band or learning how to perform on your own! The Encore SMART System is utilised as the foundation education program to teach music elements to pre-school children. It embraces a multi-sensory approach that is thorough, musically engaging and accommodates all learning styles. Click to find out more! We are now taking enrolments for our Band Sparks Program! This program caters for students in Secondary School and encompasses learning how to play in a band in a professional setting, located at Wrangler Studios in Footscray!
