  2. SCW/NSPCC Partnership agreement • Extending the support structure • Karen Workman (CPSU), NGB point of contact for advice • 3 Lead Officer meetings per year . • 17th September, 29th January 2010 • 3 CPD Courses for lead officers each year • Safeguarding and protecting children in sport:1st April • Time to listen: 16th and 17th June • Risk Assessment: 22nd and 23rd September. • Bookings forms and Information WSA Website • Please go to:   www.welshsports.org.uk/ Framework Update

  3. Framework Implementation: In Year one: April 2009-March 2010 • 10 NGBs will access support to assist them in achieving the standards set out in the Welsh Framework for protecting children in and through sport in Wales. • Athletics, Boxing, Golf, Swimming, Football, Rugby Union, Hockey, Cricket , Judo, Gymnastics.

  4. NGBs not in the first 10 • The Framework document will be available to all NGBs, and will be posted onto the WSA website from April 2009. • www.welshsports.org.uk/ • Official Launch: 30th April

  5. Policy Approval and Review All outstanding policies should be reviewed by Karen workman (CPSU) by 1st April 2009. Policy Review: From April 2009-March 2010 Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Canoeing, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Netball, Rowing, Rugby Union, Sailing, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon.
