  2. Counter flow drum mixers Atlas Counter flow drum mixers have helped customers succeed a much better quality of the hot mix. The simple design of this equipment has helped customers succeed optimum fuel efficiency. it's additionally possible to use a bag filter with the machine. we are looking to export counter flow asphalt plant to Europe and countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The counter flow series of double drum asphalt mixers offer a compact style to contractors with production range as low as 40 tph to as high as 120 tph. Plants higher than 120 tph are obtainable and are custom created. These plants are designed to allow higher mixing quality compared to the only drum parallel flow plants offered.

  3. Components of counter flow asphalt plant The major components of the counter flow asphalt plant are as under. These components work in tandem together to get sensible quality hot mix asphalt. The equipment is compact and doesn't take up extra space to set up. • Aggregate feeding system • Screening & Charging the Cold aggregates into the drum • Multi Fuel Burner • Asphalt Storage Tanks • Mineral Filler Unit • Load out Conveyor • Hot Mix Storage Silo • Primary – Pollution Control System • Secondary - Pollution Control System • Control Panel • Control Cabin Unit

  4. Aggregate feeding system: • Built on a rugged structure. • Frequency controlled drives to regulate flow of aggregates individually. • No flow indicator switch on each bin. Screening & Charging the Cold aggregates into the drum • Single deck vibrating screen for removal of oversize particles. • Charging conveyor is for transfer of cold aggregates to the drying drum. • Charging conveyor is equipped with load cell for weighing the aggregates.

  5. Multi Fuel Burner • Multi fuel burner: Diesel and LDO. Optional FO and gas. • Low noise burner is capable to heat aggregates effectively. Asphalt Storage Tanks • Bitumen tanks are fully insulated. • Available in various capacities. Mineral Filler Unit • Compressor for smooth floe of minerals. • Vibrating Screen for removal of blockage in the path to aid free flow.

  6. Load out Conveyor • Load out conveyor is fully covered and equipped with the heat resistant belt. • GOB hopper holds hot mix asphalt and avoids segregation while changing trucks. Hot Mix Storage Silo • Storage silo is insulated from all sides. • Available in various capacities. Primary – Pollution Control System • Collects heavy dust from the drying drum and treats it to cyclonic effect to settle it. • Compliments the secondary dust collector.

  7. Secondary - Pollution Control System • Secondary Dust collecter: Bag house filter / wet dust collector. • Works in sync with the dry dust collector to settle the dust. Control Panel • User friendly software. Operation in auto and manual mode. • Pre-installed and factory tested. • Microprocessor type | PLC type | SCADA type. Control Cabin Unit • Control cabin is insulated. • Strategic location of cabin ensures good view of the asphalt plant.
