  3. All-USA Timeline Late Sept/Early October Applications disseminated December 1, 2006 Applications due at Headquarters February 2007 All nominees notified April 2007 AACC Convention USA TODAY officially announces winners

  4. FACT Must obtain an associate degree between December 1, 2006, and August 31, 2007 Two students per campus may be nominated You do not have to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa FICTION Students must graduate between December 1, 2004, and August 31, 2005 Students must intend to transfer Students must have a horrible life to be named to the First Team All-USA Eligibility

  5. All-USA Rewards • 60 winners are selected; Top 20 receive a $2,500 stipend and will be honored at the AACC Convention New Century Scholars • Highest scoring student in each state receives $2,000 All-State Academic Teams • Teams in 34 states, over $41 million in scholarships

The Guistwhite Scholarships • Active member of Phi Theta Kappa • Enrolled through Dec. 2006 • Graduate with an associate degree between Dec. 1, 2006, and Aug. 31, 2007 • Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA for all coursework from the past five years • Admitted to a senior institution with junior level status and enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester in 2007

  7. The Guistwhite Scholarships • Up to twenty Guistwhite Scholars receive $5,000 each • Winners are recognized on-stage at the Phi Theta Kappa International Convention

  8. Leaders of Promise • Phi Theta Kappa member in good standing currently enrolled in a community college • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA • Completed 36 semester hours or less by Jan. 31, 2006 • No previous degree • Must enroll in a community college for Fall 2006 • Application deadline April 28!

  9. The National Dean’s List • Automatically nominated within one year after being reported to Headquarters • Members nominated 1st of June • No application required, simply return biographical form • 50 winners, selected at random, receive $250 each
