A: A mix of 4-12 employers & employees, desirable to include a labor organization.
Q: What is the Employer/Employee mix?
A: Preferable to be Journeymen level employees, Managers are OK. At least 51% of the committee needs to understand the industry, the required skill set etc.
Q: Can Apprentices complete training prior to completing the 2000
on-the-job training hours?
A: Yes, as long as they have demonstrated competency through some type of evaluation or testing
Q: What is the Journeymen to apprentice ratio?
A: A one to one ratio is required. Journeymen must be available to the point whereby he/she can be responsible for the actions of the apprentice.
