  1. IIMT Group of Colleges Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering: Which is Better? Both the fields are important in their respective domain. It all depends upon the student’s choice and credibility that the field the student chose for its future perspectives and prospects. What is a mechanical engineering degree? In this program, students receive extensive mechanical engineering training on a professional level, depending on the school they attend. Individuals can develop their engineering skills. Some topics that can be covered include project management, design, CAD, engineering management and technical design. Diagnostic and mathematical skills are an important part of this study and students also gain experience of technology and materials used in this field. Electrical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the study of the application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Qualified electrical engineers design electrical circuits and equipment. They work in large power plants, as well as small hardware companies including the design, manufacture and operation of power plants, industrial machinery, electric motors, computer chips and ignition systems for cars, airplanes, spaceships and all kinds of engines. Electrical and mechanical engineering is divided into a variety of specialties, such as acoustics, speech, signal processing for electromagnetic compatibility, automobiles for vehicle technology, geosciences and remote sensing, lasers and 'electro-optics, robotics, ultrasound, ferroelectric and frequency control. Most people connect electrical engineering with cables and circuits, but there is much more. Electrical engineers are not only needed in the construction or energy industry, but also in telecommunications, computers, navigation, railway, automotive, architecture, aerospace, defense and so on. From the maintenance of the electrical network to the research and development of electronic devices and technologies and the design of computer circuits, electrical engineers are needed in various fields. This field of engineering is mainly used in two fields: energy and telecommunications. Power engineers: power engineers are engaged in the production and transmission of electricity. Their services are most in demand in the automotive industry, as they are responsible for the design, manufacture and maintenance of engines and to ensure the power flow of the engine connected to the equipment. Power engineers with special knowledge in microelectronics and the production of very small electrical circuits used in computers and other electronic devices. Telecommunications Engineer: mainly working on cable design and maintenance. Its services are also required for receiver and receiver manufacturing. 2. IIMT Group of Colleges ●Design, manufacture and operation of power plants, industrial machines, electric motors and ignition systems for automobiles, airplanes, spaceships and other types of engines. ●Research and design improved ways for using electrical power ●Calculate the cost of manufacturing, building and installing electrical equipment. Being a mechanical engineer not only opens the window for one but to many fields, the young mind at the end of the class 10th boards exam can pursue directly to diploma in the mechanical engineering field. It is a discipline that deals with the application of the concepts of physics and science for designing, manufacturing and maintenance of the mechanical equipment. Along with it materials science for analysis, design manufacturing and maintenance of the mechanical systems. The students have the perseverance for more technical equipment knowledge as it caters to practical approach. The students also have the knowledge about the practical softwares like Solidworks/ Inventor/Creo and even manufacturing softwares. This diploma degree will provide you an opportunity to clear any competitive exam where Diploma is minimum qualification, like SSC JE RRB and many good companies are hiring diploma candidates like Tata Steel, Indian oil etc. IIMT COLLEGE OF POLYTECHNIC, Greater Noida provides all the facilities and gives the students that ample amount of opportunities and focuses on the student’s aptitude and capability to pursue the career of the student’s dreams. It is one of the top 10 colleges in the Delhi-NCR. www.iimtindia.net
