Your ceremony is important since without it, there is no marriage. But the wedding reception is the one part of your day that will take more time to plan and cost more money than anything else. • You and your guests will spend more time at the wedding reception than during any other part of the day. So you should make it the most memorable event possible. The best way to ensure that you plan for everything that you'll need to do for your reception is to get organized with a timeline and checklist. The worse possible thing that could happen is to forget an item that is important to your wedding reception. For instance I have seen brides that did not do a bouquet toss because they forgot to buy a toss bouquet and did not want to give away their own.

You will need to decide on both for the ceremony as well as the wedding reception but it has more of an impact on the latter.
