Adopted 10 courses from Carnegie Technology Education (CTE), a subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA. Six of them are in the core, whilst the remaining four form the Software Systems Development Stream. All students who graduate will be eligible to sit for the examination leading to the Certificate in Computer programming of CTE. Students who study the Software Systems Development Stream will also be eligible to sit for the examination leading to the Certificate in Software Systems Development. Adopted four courses from Cisco, students who study the Network and Systems Support Stream and passed the courses will be eligible to sit for the examination leading to a qualification called Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
