Characteristics of Good Units • Do all things well…operations, admin (awards, OERs/NCOERs, pay issues, meet suspenses), unit sports • Visible signs of discipline…uniform, conduct, work and living areas, products • High standards • Motivated soldiers; high morale • Do routine things routinely…property accountability, equipment maintenance, daily inspections, training schedules, duty rosters • Have good SOPs/Checklists and use them

  6. Training/Readiness Cycles • Assigned wartime locations • One Btry permanently at Kunsan • 30 day R-A-G cycle; no Hot and DRB periods
