  7. Chapter 8 – Changes in a Young Nation Menu • 1. Create a timeline with a 1-2 sentence summary of each event. Next, write how each event connects to any of the five ideals (democracy, equality, liberty, opportunity and rights). • 2. Create a cartoon that shows the development of the nation in the years after the constitution.  Your cartoon must include all term/events along with your graphics and dialogue (there needs to be a story!)  Humor is optional . • 3. Examine two different points of view of the history covered. You can choose an African-American slave, a Native American living on the plains a white settler moving West, a white woman, or President Andrew Jackson.  For each person give a narrative of how they feel about the terms/events.
