  2. What does Campus Safety do for you? This presentation seeks to answer this question. The intention is to inform you of the services offered by Campus Safety and encourage you to use them. We are here to protect and serve you SAU. Please take time to Click through the different informational tutorials and test yourself on the knowledge presented. (Besides write parking citations)

Dispatchers • In addition to this formidable force there are 8-10 Student Dispatchers. • These are the ones who are responsible for communicating between the officers and all of the external and internal agencies. Examples include: Police Department, Plant services, and Students like yourself. • 24/7 – 365 days a year there is someone here to answer your call. Life safety Fire Safety • Campus safety maintains and tests all of the fire detectors on campus as well as maintaining the fire extinguishers. • While drills may seem obnoxiously planned and a general pain for all involved – drilling what to do during an emergency can and does save lives. • Also note that if you leave a tortilla in the microwave for three minutes it will burn and cause chaos.   8. Life Safety Medical Emergency • It will take an Ambulance an average of 8-10 Min to get to you at any given location here on campus. • It will only take our officers an average of 3. • While Calling 911 is always a good idea- don’t forget to Call campus safety as well Menu Next

  9. Life Safety Lectures and Training Courses • RAD – Rape Aggression Defense. • Drug Abuse Lectures • Crowd Control and Safety Training A Bonus with RAD is you get the limited opportunity to hit an officer! Menu

  11. Services Offered • Car Care- we all have days where our best laid plans don’t always work out. Just remember you have friends at Campus Safety who are willing to help • Jump start. • Air in Tire. • Fuel pick up (limited) However keep in mind that there services are offered ONLY on campus property and AFTER all other emergency calls have been addressed.
