Colossians 2:6-10 (NIVUK) So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no-one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

  4. Colossians 2:6-10 (NIVUK) For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the Head over every power and authority.

  7. Don’t get distracted Christian faith is relatively simple • Believe and receive Jesus as Lord • Think as if Jesus is Lord • Live as if Jesus is Lord

  8. Colossians 2:8-10 (The Message) Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that's not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don't need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything

Moving Onwards • What are we inhaling into our lives? • Gossip | rumour | jokes • Humanism | Secularism • Social value systems (TV/music/Internet) • Financial “must have’s” • What are we exhaling from our lives • “So what” test: if we weren’t there in our families | relationships • Positive or negative influence? “When I was in England, I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and didn't like it. I didn't inhale and I didn't try it again”
