  5. In eternity past, based on His foreknowledge, God elected the believer into the Family of God as part of His Divine Decree. Rom 8:28-30

  6. 7. The Biblical Order of God’s Divine Decree:a. Create all mankind. b. Permit the fall of man. c. Provide salvation. d. Leave the reprobate or unbeliever to their just condemnation. e. Elect and predestine believers only.

  13. 10. Under election, the sovereignty of God willed the highest and best for every believer, having previously deposited it in escrow for each believer in eternity past. Eph 1:3-6

  14. 11. The mechanics for the election of the Church is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5; 1 Cor 12:13) which occurs at the moment we believe in Christ. Eph 1:11-14

  15. 12. The election of the Church includes both equal privilege and equal opportunity for every believer to produce Divine Good.

  16. a. Under election, equal privilege is your Royal Priesthood.1 Peter 2:5, 9

  17. As a Royal Priest, every believer has a direct line to God, which means he represents himself before God, evaluates himself, and offers prayer for himself and others.

  18. Your priesthood demands that you live your own life as unto the Lord and take the responsibility for your own decisions. This is your equal privilege under election.

  19. b. Under election, equal opportunity is logistical grace blessings.2 Cor 9:8

  20. 2 Cor 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything (LGB) you may have an abundance for every good deed.”

  21. c. You must know that election is God’s plan for you. 1 Thes 1:4

  22. 1 Thes 1:4, “Knowing, brethren, beloved of God, His election for you.”

  23. d. To understand your election, you must function under grace orientation; orientation to the plan of God for your life.Col 3:12

  24. Col 3:12-13, “So, as those who have been chosen (elected) of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, …”

  25. e. Our works have no relation to our election.2 Tim 1:9-10

  26. 2 Tim 1:9-10, “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, …

  27. … but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

  28. f. No man or angelic creature can stop our historical impact because of the fulfillment of our election. Rom 8:33
