  2. Help us with traffic control, customer service, loading purchased items, raise awareness for Earth Day & raise funds to support Waco Habitat! FREE t-shirt for ½ OFF sale volunteers! The Waco NEEDS YOU! Volunteer with the ReStore for our semi-annual ½ OFF Sale Saturday, April 12thto help us raise $25,000 for Waco Habitat in ONE Saturday! *Volunteers must attend a brief ½ OFF Sale Volunteer Orientation on Friday, the 11th; specific time TBD* TWO volunteer shifts available on Saturday, the 12th :: 8:30am-12:30pm and/OR 11:30am-3:30pm

  3. Join Relay for Life Through AMSA!! • Go to relayforlife.org/baylorutx • Click Sign Up • Click Join a Team • Select “AMSA,” then click NEXT • Select “Pay Registration by Cash or Check” and you do not have to pay, AMSA will pick up the cost! • Fill out the rest of the information and pass on to family and friends! • Kevin Shah can tell you all about it! • Make sure to come to the Relay for Life Event on March 28th!

  4. Relay for Life LuminariaBags! • Luminaria bags can be purchased and dedicated in honor or memory of anyone you know that has fought the battle of cancer. The bags are lit during the luminaria ceremony on March 28th. • We will have bags available at every meeting. Each bag is $5 each and worth 5 points for a maximum of 10 points.

Medical Mission Trips Panel! • Are you interested in going on a medical mission trip? • Come out to AMSA’s first medical mission trip panel to hear all about the experiences of fellow pre-med students • Mission trips represented will include: • Guatemala • Kenya • Dominican Republic • And more! • Date: TBD (week of March 17th) • Attendance will be worth 5 points!

  32. TalithaKoum • Thursday 3/6/14 (WEEKLY) • 4 – 5 pm • Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms at TalithaKoum Mental Health Institute for pre-K children suffering from multigenerational poverty. • 5 points

  33. Meyer Clinic • The Meyer Clinic is a department of Mission Waco where volunteer physicians and nurses welcome people without insurance. We will be spending time talking with and giving out hygiene bags to patients. • March 6th • 4:00-6:00pm • WEEKLY! • 4 members chosen per week • Contact Magda_hernandez@baylor.edu with any questions
