  5. Plan of Action There are only few charismatic personalities in history who took their nation towards new heights. They are the individuals who are the ‘Foundling Fathers’. They are also called as “Father of Nation”. Mustafa Kamal and Quaid-i-Azam are also such personalities who changed the destiny of millions of people and also inspired a lot more. We are asked by our language teacher to do a comparative study of Mustafa Kamal as “Ataturk” (Father of Turks) and founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Quaid-i-Azam). We will use technology for research, presentation etc to collect and share information as mentioned in the curriculum framing questions. The end product will be PowerPoint presentation, newsletter and an essay which our group leader is going to present in the class. Our assessment will be made on rubrics that we already have.

  6. Problem Statement • I feel difficulty to got 100% relevancy of material from the internet. • I was unable to write essay in our own words as it always have spelling, grammatical, structural and tense errors. • I was quite reluctant to present an oral presentation before the class. I feel my throat choked, hands and legs shaking, more over voice became shaky and I started stumbling during the presentation session. • MY essay was not fully arranged and lacked proper sequence.

  7. Recommendation • Creative writing should be a part of the syllabus and curriculum should be designed in a way that it should allocate more weight- age to creativity to avoid cramming. • Oral presentation should be part of scheme of studies. • We can improve our written ability by paying more heed towards building accurate pronunciation i.e. by listening to English news on BBC or CNN and observing dialogue delivery in English movies. • Building vocabulary through extensive reading of newspapers, article and daily memorizing five new words daily

  8. Conclusion • Learning English language is not a big deal if we start concentration upon grammatical rules, spellings, and vocabulary building. • Nothing will be difficult to write for us if we pay heed towards the basic rules of English. • Communication in English is also a need of time. Therefore we must give time to this aspect of learning also at academic level. • So, when we end our education at college our education can enable us to compete the emerging trends of the contemporary world.
