  2. Welcome ! Welcome to (company name)! We have new ideas that are coming to you! We are going to start a training program to help build skills that we think present and future employees are lacking. Being one of the top 500 level managers we must stretch the potential of you, the employees. In many work environments building proper skills, and have the employees work together to be successful.

  3. What’s wrong with the world? Statement of the problem: As mentioned before, the work area today are lacking the important skills such as Collaboration Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Creativity, and Communication Skills. We need these basic skills to improve the success of our Company. Correction of the problem: Fulfilling these areas can help the company in many different ways such as the increase profit, the amount of clients coming in, productivity, and of course the employee working skills

  4. Our Training Program For the next three months we will be holding a training program. About the Training Program The training program will go on for twice a week Every skill practice will be for 2 hours long. Each skill will be covered for 3 weeks. We hope that practicing these skills will soon make it easier to do work around the company.

  5. Communication Skills Communications skill is one of the skills we will help you train in. Having this skill is really important. Being able to communication is essential in a static work environment. It can help with: Bringing in Clients Working with employees Without communication it can set our company on a downhill slope.

  6. Communication Skills Procedures • Seminars will be help twice a week with exercises that help communication skills. • Most of the practices will be peer to peer evaluation • You will finish an online session (http://www.ci.maryville.tn.us/mhs/decades/Current/rating-sheet.htm) • The speaker will collect the peer-to-peer evaluation sheets and see if the employees are improving. Situation/Scenario All employees will have to attend a session helping them with their communication skills. In these sessions you will be participating in many exercises that will improve your communication.

  7. Communication skills Desired Outcome The desired outcome for doing the communication skills practices are to improve: • Correct grammar, listening and having eye contact while talking to people • Being able to talk to clients, supervisors etc. • Being able to talk to large groups without any problem.

  8. Problem Solving Skills Problem Solving skills are being able to handle and fix any problem that might happen in the work area. It will help the company be more productive by wiping out obstacles quicker and more efficiently. When there is more production, there will be more profit, and everyone is happy.

  9. Problem Solving Skills • Procudures • Opening and working with excel to manage a person’s budget OR A regular Open-ended in Word. • IF Budget → Determine one’s appropriate budget and explain • IF Open-ended → Follow specific directions depending on the question. • Depending on the prompt, you will have to tell the plausibility of the budget, and fix accordingly. • Integrate proper problem-solving practices in your explanations. • Monitor the outcome of your problem-solving explanation. Situation/Scenario A series of open-ended prompts will be given to you. This whole skill will be covered on an individual-basis. Some examples of prompts include de-bugging a computer and writing essays.
