  2. What is sexting? • Sexting is the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos usually through via two phones

  3. Facts about Sexting • The online world seems to be a growing more dangerous for young people all the time • Webcams and cell phones make it easier than ever to exchange pictures- NAKED • One survey shows that three in ten are taking part in sexting of some kind

  4. Dangers of this crime • If you decide to send a nude photograph to someone, your putting yourself out there for good after it’s sent there is no turning back. • Once you send the picture you no longer have a choice on where it goes from there • Sending these nude photos sets you up to be bullied and sexually harassed, even more major you get in trouble with the law!

  5. What Could You Get Charged with? • Child pornography • Distributing or processing explicit photos • Communicating with a minor in the intent of a lewd act • Internet Sex crimes • Sending harmful matter with the intent of seduction

  6. Who gets charged? • The sender • The Receiver ( some cases) • Anyone who passes the photo on to others • Parents also are involved in most cases
