Roles • To create awareness of workers &/or affiliates • To increase workers’ knowledge & skills • To integrate women in the leadership • To build Union capacity • To build better relationship within leaders • To develop & improve leadership qualities • To identify workers’ problems & provide its solutions • To monitor & update on contemporaries issues

  3. Labor Education Policy • To inculcate greater awareness of trade union rights and responsibilities, and knowledge on the needs and role of trade unions in society among its leaders and members. • To strengthen the labor movement, emphasis should also be placed on education as s strategy organizing and mobilisation • To develop future leadership through proper education and training

  4. Needs and role of trade unions • To training more union educators at all levels • To render assistance to affiliates based on their needs, for planning and conducting their education programs. • To achieve a systematic learning process through basic, intermediate, advanced and specialized levels in English and the national language • To instill greater awareness amongst workers and their leaders on information technology and IT relates subjects.
