  4. ULTRA-FINE DIAMOND 4 SUFDD – Synthetic ultra-fine detonation-produced diamonds • 1. Powder is produced in explosion chamber at disposal of explosives, then cleaned, separated and dried up • 2. Blanks as cylinders dia. 3 mm, 3 mm high sintered under high pressure and temperature • 3. Dies, nozzles for water-jetting, tips of hardness gages are made from sinters • Properties of diamond, but lower cost

SOFC 5 Development of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC)power plant • Materials: - Electrode materials: Co-cermet, Ni- cermet, chromites, manganites, etc. - Electrolyte: oxide zirconia based • Operational features: - High temperature (up to 1000C) - Oxidizing environment on the cathode side - Reducing environment on the anode side

NEW APPROACHES TO SOFC 6 • Research of support tubular electrolytes with improved microstructure produced from fine powders • Application of thin-film electrolytes for : - Reduction of electrolyte ionic resistance - High specific power at operational temperature (up to 800 C). • Deposition techniques and structure/performance features of electrolyte coatings
