There is a Pencil Paper Alternative • Wyoming Association of Municipalities offers ICC exams in a different town each month. • You have to pay and register at least a month in advance • You do not find out your score until a month or so after taking the exam. • WAM Website Address: • Google or Bing Wyoming Trade Certification and it should be the first link or call: 632-0398

  10. Answer every question. • Go through the entire test quickly. • If you can eliminate two answers, guess, you will be right 50% of the time. • Open book test, you cannot write in the book! You can highlight! • If you fail, you can only fail the test twice in 6 months. • When in doubt pick C does not work.

  11. Read every question carefully. While these tests are not very difficult, you have to read the question carefully to get the right answer. • Beware of the words EXCEPT and NOT.

  12. You must have two forms of ID, to get into a test center. At least one must have a photograph. • Resident aliens will be required to have proof that they are legally in the US before they will be allowed to take the test. • You are not allowed to take cell phones, calculators, Etc. into the test with you. Pearson Vue provides lockers for these items.

  13. WHICH TEST TO TAKE? • Wyoming State Specific Test W-6 (Passing this test gets you a Class A and B Operator’s License.) • Chapter17, Wyoming Water Quality Rules • Covers W.S. 35-11-14 (Storage Tank Act of 2007) • National Test UB Exam(Passing this test only gets you a Class B Operator’s License for underground storage tanks.) • Federal Rules in 40 CFR 280 • Federal Guidance Documents • The Wyoming AST Test W-5 (Passing this test only gets you a Class B Operator’s License for aboveground storage tanks.
