  3. Worked with SCPS on NIJ Safe Schools Proposal. Teamed with UCF. NIJ to announce awards on 30 Sept. Request for M&S Curriculum/Framework approval to be submitted to FL DoEd by SCPS on 30 Sept 2014 NCS M&S Certification Exam to be given March-April 2015 timeframe as a Beta Test at five high schools and Orlando Technical School M&S Certification Exam brochure, website and social media completed -Deb Yeagle A-T Solutions spearheading Participating with Crooms AOIT Business Advisory Council Supporting Corner Lakes MS, Olympia and University High School Robotics Teams Committee Actions and Events

Committee Actions and EventsContinued • Need volunteers (practicioners) for Hagerty HS M&S Advisory Council • Helping to place high school interns with M&S Companies • Attended Ground-Breaking of VA Hospital SimLEARN Facility • Concept for OCPS to establish Center for Simulation at Mid Florida Tech ( John Young/Oak Ridge). Cubic involved. • Working with Valencia, Orlando Science Center on ZORA! STEM Program • Established NCS STEM Scholarships at 5 Orange and Seminole high schools • Working I/ITSEC techPATH and STEM Pavilion

M&S Certification Program Schedule 17 October 2014 – CAPE Submission Due October – November – Additional Marketing Activities to prepare for I/ITSEC 1-4 December 2014 – I/ITSEC 5 January 2015 – Application period for Beta school students opens 9 February 2015 - Application period for Beta school students closes 5March 2015 – Receiveapproval of CAPE Submission, with the NCS M&S Certification added to the Comprehensive Industry Certification List Late March / early April – Beta Exam
