  2. Category • It is amammal. • The female usually gives birth to three babies. • The babies feed mother's milk.

  3. Size • Females are: 175 cm long and 170 kg heavy. • Males are: 190 cm long and 250 kg heavy. • It is a second largest cat in the world. • Tiger is thefirst.

  4. Habitat • It lives in the savannas , in Afrika , in the pride. • The group needs a large territory, where there is enough prey. • They must be safe.

  5. Interesting Facts • Male has got a mane. • Adult lions have got white fur and male has got mane. Babies has got a spotted. • Lion can be very aggressive. • Break one female swing feet zebras ligaments. • Female is pregnat 100 – 120 days.

  6. Hunting Habits • Female find and hunt food. Female go hunting at night. • They eat gazelle, zebra, giraffee, bivols, . . . • Babies want to hunt with mum.

  7. Numbers Left • In 2002 there were 2794lions. • Last year 2,000 lions. • Now there is only674 lions.

  8. Why Are They Endangered • People kill lions for their fur and very nice mane.

  9. How Do Save Them • We can help them with pettition on protesting the killing white lions.
