Just Like Jesus – An Enduring Heart • Runners strip down to minimum weight. • Avoid entanglements, use tactics to race. • All of Heb. 11 faithful running their races. • We all experience things that weigh us down. • Many fears and kinds of lack of faith? • Great encouragement, no matter what… • … look to Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! • He “did not consider equality with God something to be grasped…” Phil. 2:6.

Just Like Jesus – An Enduring Heart • Paul “press(es) on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of (him)” Phil 3:12 • “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Phil 3:13b-14 • Paul wrote to Timothy, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”2 Tim 4:7
