A trip to the west. The westward expansion. The Alamo. The Alamo was the battle that gave the Texans their independence from Santa Anna, but not in the way you would think. After the Mexican army defeated the men at the Alamo, the Texans were quick to revenge their comrades.

  2. The Alamo • The Alamo was the battle that gave the Texans their independence from Santa Anna, but not in the way you would think. After the Mexican army defeated the men at the Alamo, the Texans were quick to revenge their comrades.

  3. The Texas revolution • The Texas revolution was when the Texans fought for there freedom from Santa Anna. • The battle of the Alamo was just another battle of the Texas revolution . • When the Alamo was lost the Texans were quick to rebel. • It took all of 18 minutes to defeat Santa Anna

  4. Mississippi river • The Lewis and Clark Expedition was one of the greatest Expeditions that shaped the modern world. This expedition was to find a passage to Asia west of the Mississippi river. The Mississippi river played a big part of the expedition. It supplied a big place for them to get water and fish.

  5. Oregon trial • Trail • The Oregon trial was a hard and torturous travel for many of the American travelers. They wanted to get a better life for themselves. Many people died from disease ,and from weather conditions.
