WUA list of Irrigation Problems1. كشف بمشاكل الري- Focus on irrigation problems and their cause. التركيز على معوقات الري ومسبباتها - Indicate how many farmers are affected. تحديد عدد المزارعين المتأثرين بهذه المعوقات - Use standard format. استخـدام النماذج المعتمـدة 2. Establishment of Farmer Design Committee (FDC) 2. لجنة التصاميم • WUA leaders elect 4- 6 representatives. انـتخاب 4- 6 من قبل ممثلي الجمعيات • Training on tasks and design procedures. التدريب على مهام وإجراءات التصاميم

Problem Ranking3. وضع أولويات المشاكل- Identify the irrigation problems, their cause and how many farmers/ha are affected.تحديد معوقات الري ومسبباتها (عدد المزارعين والمساحة المتضررة) - Rank the irrigation problems.ترتيب أولويات معوقات الري- WUA leaders must sign the ranked problem list.توقيع الجمعيات على بيان أولويات المعوقات والتأكد من استيعاب محدودية إعتمادات التأهيل - Make sure farmers understand that funds are limited and that the project can only look into the highest ranked items.

Wake- thru survey 4. المسح الميدانـي: - Field inspection of the most serious problem areas by the FDC and the design engineer (limit to 1- 2 days). النزول مع فريق العمل الميداني لتحديد أهم مشاكل المنطقة 5. Evaluation of possible solutions :5. تـقييم الحلول المحتملة للتـنفيذ- Assess alternative solutions to the irrigation problems, their economic feasibility and potential benefits.تـقييم الخيارات البديلة وجدواها الاقتصادية- Estimate (roughly the cost for each alternative solution.تـقدير التكاليف الأوليـة.

Design meeting6. الاجتماع لمناقـشة التصميم:The design engineer explains and discusses the alternative technical solutions ad corresponding costs with the FDC. مناقـشة الخيارات البديلة وتكاليفها. 7. Agreement on beneficiary contributions7. الاتـفاق على طريقة المساهمة- Discuss options for WUA contribution towards rehabilitation cost.- Agree on how WUA will contribute their 10%.مناقشة خيارات المساهمة والاتـفاق حول كيفية دفع الجمعيات مساهمتهم المقدرة بـ10%

List of requested works8. بيـان بالأعمال المطلوبة- FDC submits their list of requested works and statement on how farmers will provide their contributions. تسليم بيان الأعمال المطلوبة وتوضيح كيفية دفع المساهمة. 9. PMU Approval9. موافـقة وحدة إدارة المشروع 10. Detailed design10. التصاميمالتـفصيلية-Preparation of design drawings/sketches.إعداد رسومات التصاميم- Quantity and cost calculation.حساب الكميات وتوضيح النوعية

Design presentation11. تـقديم التصاميم النهائيـة-Explain the final design + costs (use photos & sketches). - Quantity and cost calculation. شرح التصاميم والتوقيع بالموافقة من رئيس الجمعية 12. Works and support Agreement12. اتفاقية تـنفيذ العمل والمساهمة والصيانةWUA signs agreement with PIU concerning the final design, cost sharing arrangements, future O&M responsibility and technical/institutional support for the WUA . 13. Bidding documents13. وثائق المناقصـة: استكمال الوثائق لأعمال التأهيل Finalizing bidding documents for rehabilitation works.
